New housing has gone up on the back of the East West Rail line, which now runs past the town with a new station built and handed over. At the time of writing the station is finished but still not carrying passengers, and residents have been campaigning to get it open.
We mention it because it is the thing everyone in Winslow is talking about, and because the housing growth that came with it is genuinely changing the mix of property here.

The housing in Winslow, and what it means
